AQ Engineering Workshop

From Drawing to Finished Product

Flexible manufacturing with short decision-making paths

Engineering Workshop is a full-service manufacturing partner based in Trollhättan, Sweden. We support industrial companies with everything from prototypes and one-off components to recurring production and fully assembled products.

With CNC machining, welding, sheet metal fabrication and assembly under one roof, we can take full responsibility for the manufacturing process. Our organisation is flexible, our decision-making paths are short, and we are accustomed to finding solutions when requirements are demanding and time is critical.

How We Help Our Customers

CNC Machining

We provide advanced turning and milling for prototypes, spare parts, and small to medium-sized production runs. With modern machinery, CAM programming and experienced personnel, we can manufacture complex components with demanding requirements for tolerances, quality and repeatability.

  • CNC turning with driven tools
  • CNC milling
  • Prototypes and one-off components
  • Small and medium-sized production runs
  • Fast delivery of critical spare parts

Welding and Fabrication

We manufacture welded components, stands, frames and complete structures based on customer drawings and requirements. We can also assist with design for manufacture, material selection and practical solutions that simplify production.

  • MIG/MAG and TIG welding
  • Welded structures and machine frames
  • Manufacturing in carbon steel, stainless steel and aluminium
  • Prototypes and recurring production
  • Documented and quality-assured manufacturing

Sheet Metal Fabrication

We process and form sheet metal into both individual components and complete structures. By combining sheet metal fabrication with welding, machining and assembly, we reduce the need for customers to coordinate multiple suppliers.

  • Cutting and sheet metal fabrication
  • Press braking and bending
  • Modification and finishing
  • Welded sheet metal structures
  • Small and medium-sized production runs

Assembly and Complete Deliveries

We can deliver more than individual components. When required, we take responsibility for purchasing, manufacturing, surface treatment, assembly, inspection and documentation.

The result is a finished component, subassembly or product ready for use in the customer’s operations.

A Partner When Time Is Critical

Manufacturing needs do not always arise according to plan. A spare part may fail, a design may need to be modified, or a project deadline may be brought forward.

When that happens, you need a manufacturing partner that can respond quickly.

Our strength lies in the combination of broad manufacturing expertise, in-house machine capacity and short decision-making paths. We assess each assignment quickly, propose a practical solution and provide a realistic delivery time.

We are particularly well suited for:

  • Prototypes and development projects
  • Spare parts and urgent production requirements
  • Complex components in smaller production runs
  • Welded and machined structures
  • Assignments requiring several manufacturing processes
  • Customers who value flexibility and close communication

Quality, Traceability and Responsibility

We take a structured approach to quality throughout the entire process—from quotation and order review to manufacturing, inspection and delivery.

Engineering Workshop is certified to ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 3834-2. This means that we work systematically with quality, environmental responsibility and continuous improvement.

When required, we can also provide:

  • Material certificates and traceability
  • Inspection reports and documented quality checks
  • Customer-specific quality requirements
  • Confidential manufacturing assignments
  • Restricted work areas with controlled access
