AQ Mdexx chokes and transformers for the railway industry

These also include chokes for use in electrically powered vehicles. These chokes are used both in trams and underground railways and in the most modern high-speed trains. All components are specially designed for the harsh environmental conditions that occur during operation on the track. These include increased requirements for climate resistance, humidity and harmful substances in the environment. All chokes meet the mechanical requirements and withstand the shocks that constantly occur during operation on the track. In addition, the chokes are characterized by low noise emissions.

The on-board network container with transformer, choke and switch serves to supply the vehicle's electrical system under various power supply conditions.
Absorption chokes are used to smooth the intermediate circuit voltage and reduce harmonics in the intermediate circuit
Chopper chokes (chokes for switched-mode power supplies) limit the steepness of pulse currents and short-circuit currents
Rod-core chokes as part of a mains filter for overvoltage protection and to limit mains harmonic currents or intermediate circuit harmonic currents.
