AQ Wiring Systems STG Sp. z o.o. (previously named Gerdins Cable Systems) was founded in 1997 as a result of joint-venture between Connecto AB from Sweden and Alphabet Stoneridge Inc. from USA. In March 2003 the company was  bought out by Swedish company Cablage Team AB (Gerdins Group). In October 2016 was bought out by AQ Group, which is the only one shareholder.

Production activity was began in 1999. First company products were produced for ABB Robotics, Ericsson Telecommunication and John Deere. In the following years the company expanded activities  in following sectors: industrial, medical, agricultural, marine, appliance and automotive.

The company is located in Linowiec, Starogard Gdański (northern Poland) and has a modern building with an easy access to the main roads. Furthermore has well educated staff,  and is self-sufficient  and independent in logistics, engineering, quality, IT and production processes.
